About Us

We are Hans and Lisa and Rosie the Cat. We've realized our dream of retiring early and hitting the road full time in an RV. We spent a couple of years researching the full time RV lifestyle, purging our excess belongings and prepping to sell the house. The house is sold as of July 17, 2012 and we moved in the RV on September 10, 2012...the Metamorphosis has truly begun!

This blog chronicles what it's like to plan for (April 2010 to September 2012) and then live on the road in an RV; with additional focus on our favorite past times: trail hiking, urban walking, biking, exploring new places, cooking (Lisa), eclectic music (Hans).

We live and travel in a 2013 Keystone Montana 3000RK fifth wheel, pulled by a 2013 Chevy HD3500 extended cab, long bed, diesel, 4x4.

Rosie is a Calico Tabby who has learned to tolerate a harness and leash for the nomadic lifestyle. She spent the transition months with Lisa's parents in San Diego and joined us on the road in November 2012.
