Campground Review: Jim and Mary's RV Park, Missoula, MT

Sitting just a few miles North West of downtown Missoula, MT, Jim and Mary's RV Park is a lovely green oasis in the rolling golden hills (at least it is in August).

They have 74 spacious full hook up sites, over half are very long pull throughs. Paved roads, gravel sites and lots of grass and trees and a picnic table at each site.

Amenities include laundry, showers/restrooms, rec room, cable tv and wifi. We used our own Verizon wifi and had decent 4G service during our entire stay. Water pressure was quite low, perhaps due to all the watering they must do to keep the park so green.

The park is near busy highway 93, so there is some road noise which does diminish at night. There are also train tracks on the hill behind the park with some train activity. There is an empty field next to the park, good for walking dogs. There is also at least of mile of neighborhood walking right from the park.

If we return to Missoula we'd likely stay here again, the other two full hook up options in town are family focused parks. Sites A5 - A15 and end-of-row sites (i.e. F13) seemed to be the best sites for privacy and less road noise.

Site F6.
